I am a first year PhD student in the Soil & Biogeochemistry Graduate Group. My research interests are:
- Hydropedology
- Ecohydrology
- Vadose Zone modeling
- Bedrock weathering processes
My M.S. research focused on hillslope hydrology and hydropedology in the northern Sierra Foothills of California. My research site was located at the Sierra Foothill Research and Extension Center. My current research will be conducted at the Southern Sierra Critical Zone Observatory.
In addition to research, I also have a passion for soil outreach and education. I have been involved with several outreach projects and am currently involved with the Smithsonian Dig It exhibit, which is being hosted by The California Museum through March 2015.
