While in the map interface to a given survey, zoom in until the SSURGO soil polygons are visible (yellow lines). Then click on the "info" tool (on the left hand side of the window), and click on the soil polygon that you wish to query. A new window will open with details on that soil polygon.

You can access detailed soil properties such as clay content, and pH by clicking on one of the "soil types" within a given Map Unit.
